What is my car actually
worth?

Honest answer: more than a dealer trade-in, and usually a little less than retail. Somewhere in the middle. The exact number depends on what local dealers are willing to pay for your car this week.

StockUp works best for vehicles between 2018 and 2025. That is the sweet spot our dealers are actively bidding on, which means more competition and a better number for you. The newer and more in-demand your car, the better this works.

One more thing worth knowing. If you are planning to buy your next car from a dealership, you can use our offer as a trade-in there. You get the higher StockUp number AND the BC tax savings on the trade-in. That can add thousands more in your pocket. Most sellers do not realize this is even possible.

StockUp also unlocks BC trade-in tax savings no one else offers.

Trade-ins are fast but pay the least. Clutch and Canada Drives are middle of the road. Facebook can pay more, but it takes weeks and comes with strangers in your driveway.

StockUp puts dealers in a bidding war so you walk away with the highest number. And unlike a random Facebook buyer, the dealers have the cash ready right now.

The stuff people ask before they hit the button.

The stuff people ask before they hit the button.

How much does this cost me?

Nothing. StockUp is free for sellers. We're paid by dealers when they buy your car. There are no fees.

How long does it take?

Most sellers hear back from us within hours, not days. From first message to picking an offer is usually a couple of days at most.

What if I owe money on my car?

That's fine. Most cars sold through StockUp have a loan on them. The dealer pays out your loan as part of the deal and you keep whatever's left over.

Why would dealers pay more than the usual trade-in?

Two reasons. They're competing against other dealers, which pushes prices up. And the dealers we work with want specific cars for their inventory, so they pay closer to true market value instead of the safe lowball.

Will the offer drop at the inspection?

No. The inspection just confirms the car matches what you described. If your description is accurate, the offer stands. No surprise drops, no inspection-day games. The dealer pays for the inspection too.

Where do you operate?

Serving Victoria, Saanich, Esquimalt, Oak Bay, View Royal, Central Saanich, North Saanich, Sidney, Colwood, Langford, Highlands, Metchosin, and Sooke.
